Tap Packaging + Design, a Cleveland-based packaging manufacturer for the consumer products industry, is proud to announce it has been re-certified under the new ISO 9001:2015 certification for the design and manufacture of packaging products guidelines.
Tap’s quality management system was evaluated by Smithers Quality Assessments, an ANAB IAF -accredited organization. The audit included a close examination of Tap’s quality objectives, risk management tools, management review process, corrective and preventative actions, documentation, design process, and manufacturing process. Smithers approved Tap for ISO 9001:2015 with design certification on June 18, 2018.
The ISO 9001:2015 guidelines have a greater focus on leadership involvement and risk management as well as continuous improvement processes.
