We have an immediate need for a dynamic, experienced Senior customer account specialist to join our team!
Responsibilities will include:
- Serve as main point of contact for assigned key accounts by providing thorough and planned communications, acute attention to detail, and by building positive and effective customer relationships.
- Manage custom sales orders, from initial inquiry through sample request, quote request, order entry, spec sheet entry, product shipment, and inventory management.
- Provide project management over complex customer needs and packaging projects
- Seek to develop tools and improve processes to assist and aid in effective communications
- Facilitate communications with customer, sales person, production, design & engineering, and operation teams to ensure on-time delivery and ongoing customer satisfaction.
- Have a keen understanding of our capabilities, internal processes, procedures, ISO requirements and JDE operations.
- Document and resolve customer problems/complaints in a genuine, fair, timely and thorough manner.
- Have a keen understanding of the value of brand packaging and find ways to add consultative value to customer engagements.
- Document all activities in CRM
Qualifications/Education:
- At least five to 10 years’ experience providing professional communications to customers. Exposure to marketing, communications, project management, account management and customer service.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to develop rapport with others. Must be a team player.
- Detail oriented with proven problem solving and decision making abilities.
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Conflict resolution skills needed.
- Ability to persuade others and sell ideas and products.
- Agility to effectively implement and follow-up with issues.
